Paper pom poms - Papierowe pompony

Dzisiaj prezentuję Wam różowy akcent w pokoju mojej córeczki - papierowe pompony. Pompony zostały wykonane z arkuszy gładkiej bibuły. W celu wykonania dekoracji wykorzystałam cztery kolory bibuły - blado różowy, biskupi, jasny fiolet i ciemny fiolet. W zależności od wielkości zastosowanych arkuszy otrzymałam trzy rozmiary pomponów: średnica 30cm (arkusze A3); średnica 21 cm (arkusze A4); średnica 15 cm (arkusze A5). Poniżej przedstawiam efekt moich prac oraz instrukcję wykonania papierowego pompona.

Today I show You the pink  accent in my daughter's room - paper pom poms. The pom poms were made of plain tissue-paper. Pom poms were prepared in four colors: light pink, dark pink, light and dark purple. I used three size of tissue-paper: A3 (pom pom's diameter 30 cm); A2 (pom pom's diameter 21 cm); A4 (pom pom's diameter 15 cm). Below You can see the effect of my work and the instruction how You can do it yourself.

Materiały potrzebne do wykonania pompona:

• 10 arkuszy gładkiej bibuły
• gumka recepturka lub sznurek
• nożyczki

Instrukcja wykonania pomponów:

1. arkusze bibuły układamy jeden na drugim
2. wdłuż krótszego boku skałamy harmonijkę o szerokości ok. 2 cm
3. harmonijkę związujmy na środku gumką lub sznurkiem
4. końce harmonijki przycinamy tworząc końce zaokrąglone lub ostre (od tego zależy efekt końcowy pomponów - moje pompony miały końce zaokrąglone)
5. rozkładamy harmonijkę (tworzy nam się swego rodzaju kokardka)
6. wyciągamy poszczególne arkusze bibuły
7. pompon gotowy :)

Materials  You need to prepare pom pom:

• 10 pieces of plain tissue-paper
• rubber band or twine
• scissors

The instruction of pom pom preparation:

1. prepare the pieces of tissue-paper - place them one on the other
2. start forming a harmonica (wide about 2 cm) along the shorter side
3. tie pieces of paper in the middle of the harmonica (use rubber band or twine)
4. cut the ends of the harmonica - made them sharp or rounded (my pom poms were made by using rounded ends - the type of the ends determines the final effect of pom poms)
5. spread the harmonica (create something like a bow)
6. split the pieces of tissue-paper
7. the pom pom is ready
